Japanese used cars - トレードカービュー [tradecarview]

The following four options are typically used to ship vehicles originating in Japan. There are advantages and disadvantages to each method, so please consider each option carefully.

Ro-Ro / Car Carrier
Car CarrierRo-Ro shipment or car carrier is a vessel designated for vehicle and car transportation in which the vehicle is driven on and upon arrival, driven off the ship (Roll on, Roll off).If your shipping schedule is flexible, Ro-Ro is typically the most reasonably priced option for vehicle transportation. Space on car carriers is usually very limited. If shipping is urgent, it is recommended that you use the container vessel option.
Container Carrier
Container CarrierA Container Carrier is a vessel designated for container transportation. Container shipment is the fastest and safest option available. Generally speaking, one 20 foot container will hold one vehicle and one 40 foot container will hold 2 or 3 vehicles. We recommend the use of container shipment on tradecarview.com, as this is the quickest and most secure method of shipment.
Bulk Carrier
Bulk CarrierA break bulk carrier is a vessel for unpacked cargo transportation. This type of shipment is usually used for transporting large vehicles (i.e. Trucks, Buses, Lorries etc.). As the contents of the cargo are not packed, it may be damaged during transportation. Space is quite limited and the schedule is not fixed.

LCL (Less Container Load)

LCLLCL (Less Container Load) is a service that allows multiple shippers to share a single container. If fewer than 2 cars are to be shipped, this can be an excellent way to save money. This service is only available for certain destinations.
